This year, we re-wrote the story for Black Friday. We wanted to avoid meaningless flash sales and huge discounts and do something that really counted. It’s all part of our Infinite Purpose to create a healthier, greener, more empowered world.
A Black Friday That Meant More
As the world buzzed with unsustainable discounts and deals, we switched things up and used our platform to be a force for good beyond beauty.
So, for every £80 spent, our customers received a free full-size product but more importantly – they funded one day of education for a child who’d otherwise have no access to school.
Better still, if customers shopped with a Tropic Ambassador and spent £120, they received 2 full size products and funded two days of education through our partnership with UWS.
Our Journey with UWS
Since 2019, Tropic has been proudly partnered with UWS. Together, we’ve achieved some remarkable milestones – funding over 6 million days of education worldwide, building three Tropic schools in Cambodia, Nepal and Madagascar, and supporting hundreds more around the world.
Our partnership reflects our unwavering belief that every child deserves the opportunity to realise their potential and write their own future, no matter their financial or geographical background.
Our Goal
With your help, our goal was to donate a huge 20,000 schooldays through our ‘Give Back Friday’ offer – but we absolutely smashed that target and funded a grand total of 73,703 days of education!
We already donate 10% of all our profits to charities and good causes year-round, but with this campaign, we hoped to really supercharge our work with UWS and make a lasting impact to the communities they support.
