Hello, beautiful creatures! Today I’m sharing Adept Cyborg Choir Makeup Inspiration with you. This is my first look with the Adept Cosmetics Cyborg Choir palette that I’ve created. It’s also the first smoky blue look I’ve done in a while.

Midnight Hour Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Kimono
Midnight Hour is having a 25% off sale right now! If you’ve been waiting for anything to go on sale, now is a good time to check them out. Below are the pieces I own.
- Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Fringe Dress
- Cobalt Blue Embossed Velvet Kimono
- Black Baby Rib Choker Top
- Black Vintage Shirred Top
- Black Snake Palazzo Pants
- Silver Coiled Snake Neklace
I’ve only worn the dress once, but the color is flattering with my skin tone. I don’t like the silver coiled snake necklace as a necklace, I like it better when I wind it through my hair and use it as a hair accessory. I love the design on the black snake Palazzo Pants but felt like the material was too thin and showed my underwear. Also, they don’t have pockets. As such, I rarely wear them.
I wear the tops and kimono the most. The tops are very comfortable, flattering and cute to wear. The kimono/haori is adorable and covered in bats. I have 2 other velvet haori in a similar style to this – one is Blackcraft Cult Green Velvet kimono and the other is a Black stars and moons velvet burnout robe.
Adept Cosmetics Cyborg Choir Palette
Here are my initial thoughts from playing with the Adept Cosmetics Cyborg Choir Palette. Cyborg Choir has 10 shimmery shades and 5 mattes. I love the hue, saturation and depth of 4 out of the 5 matte shades. I struggle with yellow, so haven’t used that one yet. So far, I’ve played with 4 out of 5 mattes – Synthetic Sound Wave, 77, Boring Circuit, and Robotic Fusion. And from the shimmers, Android Aura, Pixelated Pulse, Digital Harmony, Cybernetic Spark, Robo Rose, and Voltage Violet. I love all the shimmer shades.
The shimmer shades are fantastic! The matte formula has taken a little bit for me to get used to. It’s a thinner formula than I expected. I’m also still struggling with texture on my eyes from my eye surgery. I’ve found the mattes work best if I pair them with a lighter color for the transition to create a smooth gradient.
Final Thoughts
I’m having fun being creative and playing with bold hues and the Cyborg Choir palette. If you have any color combo requests, let me know!
