As more and more women prove that wearing makeup or rocking a fresh blowout isn’t “too much” while giving birth, Hailey is making a case for delivery manicures. To welcome her and husband Justin Bieber’s bundle of joy, baby boy Jack Blues, the former model donned one of this year’s hottest nail designs: French tips.
Justin announced their first child’s arrival over the weekend, sharing a snap of little Jack’s foot in Hailey’s hand, her almond-shaped nail touching the sole of her baby’s tiny limb. Considering Hailey is the queen of nails, making designs like “glazed donut” and “farmer’s market” go viral this year, it’s no surprise that there was a lot of intention behind the look she opted for to bring Jack into the world. Hailey’s longtime manicurist, Zola Ganzorigt, opened up about the manicure to Vogue, explaining that Justin was actually the brains behind the decision. “Justin has been choosing Hailey’s nail designs lately, and it was his request,” Ganzorigt told the publication, describing the classic look as a “more muted nudish white micro French” manicure.
In Justin’s announcement post, the singer shared his son’s moniker, which is especially sentimental to the Bieber family. Baby Jack’s initials are the same as his dad’s and his grandpa, Jeremy Bieber, whose middle name happens to be Jack. Cute, right?
Justin and Hailey first announced they were expecting back in May 2024—when Hailey was about six months along. While she kept her pregnancy under wraps for quite a bit, she revealed that she went public with the news because she felt she was “hiding a big secret.”
“I probably could have hid it until the end,” she told W Magazine in a cover story in July, sharing that she “didn’t enjoy the stress of not being able to enjoy my pregnancy outwardly.” She added, “I felt like I was hiding this big secret, and it didn’t feel good. I wanted the freedom to go out and live my life.”
