Hello, Hex Squad! Today I’m bringing you the Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette Review and swatches. I purchased this palette quite a while ago from Kaleidos, after I bought the Kaleidos x Angelica Nyqvist Club Nebula palette and loved it. This is a beautiful palette with bright, ultra-pigmented mattes and stunning shimmers. It’s cruelty-free and vegan.

A Personal Plea
If you love seeing my content, please consider sharing it on Reddit, Facebook, and other places where you discuss makeup. Google has stolen content from small blogs like mine for their AI, and are trying to kill us off. It’s disgusting what they’re doing.
The Brand Kaleidos Information
Kaleidos is a cruelty-free brand started by beauty blogger Zoey Pu. She founded the brand with her boyfriend Tony Chen and his friend Mark Henry. They are based in China and are commited to cruelty-free beauty.
About the Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette
Kaleidos describes this palette as intensely multi-hued and texturally diverse with ultra-pigmented mattes that blend effortlessly. It absolutely lives up to that description and then some!
Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette Swatches
See the Escape Pod Palette swatches in motion in my IG reel. There’s a swatch photo with label at the end of the reel. I did finger swatches for the shimmers and brush swatches for the mattes. I swatched on the Devinah Cosmetics Prelusion eye primer. Use code CORDELIA to save at Devinah.
Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette Review
The Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette matte formula is not raved about enough! All of the shades are soft and blendable, even the ones notoriously hard for people to format, such as the purples. I hope the brush swatches show how pigmented the colors are. I love a buildable formula that is easy to blend out.
If I were designing this palette, I would not have put in both Galactic Gala and Saturnalia, because they are both so close in hue, though i prefer Galactic Gala. I would also not have done both Tango and Carnival, though I prefer Carnival between the two.
I love how Soiree, Exoplanet, Mardi Grass, and Flamingo are so beautiful and easy to work with, as many brands struggle to format such vibrant shades in a blendable formula.
Space Oasis is the color you see blowing up everywhere from other brands like KVD Dusk Rush and Too Faced Show Off. Cosmic Cabaret and Galactic Gala steal the show for me for shimmers.
Soiree, Mardi Gras, Flamingo, and Exo Planet are my favorite from the mattes.
The only two colors I don’t like wearing are Tango and Terrace, but that’s because I don’t find them particularly flattering on me.
Final Thoughts
If you’re looking for vibrant, blendable mattes and fun shimmery shades, I recommend trying the Kaleidos the Escape Pod Palette.
On a personal note, doing yoga for 20+ hours a week is a lot outside of my normal work and blogging. However, I’m already seeing a tremendous benefit in it. I’m learning to trust my body again, I’m getting stronger, and I’m getting my stamina back. I’m tired all the time because of how busy I am, but it is worth it. So while you are seeing far less of me and I miss you all so much, I am prioritizing improving my health, and I’m succeeding at it.
One Last Thing
If you’re into gel polish like I am, and DIY’ing your nails at home, you may be concerned about developing a gel allergy. I know I am! Because of this, I am switching my gel nail products to HEMA Free versions. I found the brand Vettsy for HEMA free gel polish and just purchased a bunch from them. If you’re looking for HEMA free gel polish colors, check out Vettsy! Here’s my affiliate referral link and use code CORDELIA to save 20%.
