Before leaving for vacation I ordered Lush Peaches Body Spray which is one of six limited-edition fragrances that launched on the Lush Cosmetics app and later on the website. And I was lucky enough it arrived on time! Now I’m sitting here right now enjoying the view of the turquoise seas of Italy wearing this and it feels so fitting a scent for this adventure.
I’m a fan of Lush Body Sprays and use them quite often. However, the same can’t be said for the price. That I’m not a fan of! At 6.7 oz for $40 this is a pricey little body spray! The good news is if you already have the Princess Peach Body Spray from the Lush X Super Mario Bro Collection you won’t need the Peaches Body Spray as they are supposed to smell the same. They do in some ways but I did think the original Princess Peach smelled a bit fruiter and sweet and had notes of pineapple which is lacking in the new Peaches scent.
As I said above, I really like Lush Body Sprays and I own a majority of them but the prices are a bit iffy! I wish they were a bit more affordable. But they do have a higher concentration of fragrance in my opinion than a regular old Bath and Body Works Fine Fragrance Mist so, I guess you get what you pay for and the wear is longer with more of a throw.
As per the name this smells like peaches! But not a sweet, generic peach scent! This smells like a real peach. Juicy, slightly tart, a little tiny bit green, fresh, and a bit zesty! That first mist of the spray is like biting into a fresh peach and as it dries down it gets a tiny bit creamier on skin! It’s a very nice, Summery scent and blended in a way that it smells like a real peach which is pretty incredible.
It does fade pretty fast but I found five good sprays and wearing an unscented lotion on your body pre-application makes it linger nicely. I also, love the way it plays in the heat. It’s VERY, very hot at the moment and as this heats up on my skin it projects a bit more and creates a nice peachy bubble around me.
Lush Peaches is an interest and true peach scent. It’s available now! Have you smelled it?
