New Foundations to Haul During the Sephora Sale

As you probably know already I’m a self-proclaimed concealer junkie! I love a good concealer to brighten up under my eyes and to give me that fresh, wide awake, I slept 23 hours appearance. I am not however, a foundation girl. I mean, I like foundation and I use it but not pounds and pounds of it! I’m actually sort of thankful that youTube early 2000 era is over and people are finally starting to realize you don’t need 500 pumps of foundation on your face to look flawless. Using that much foundation has never been my thing and I’ve always liked lighter, sheerer coverage to ease dullness and even out my skin tone. Light, natural coverage has always been my thing and lately, I’m noticing a trend that a lot of Zoomers seem to prefer more natural looks as well and the beauty world has noticed as I’m seeing a lot more stick and sheer serum foundations launching. Many of which are on my wish list to haul later this week during the Sephora Spring Savings Event 2023.

On April 5th the Sephora Spring Savings Event 2024 starts for Rouge Members. You can use code YAYSAVE to enjoy 20% off at your order at sephora.com or at your favorite Sephora store! Have you started a wish list yet?

Check out these new foundations I want to haul during the sale and hey, maybe you’ll want to check them out too!

Kosas BB Burst Tinted Moisturizer Gel Cream with Copper Peptides $38 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
Yes, ma’am! You know this is top on my list. I’m a big lover of BB Creams and when I saw Kosas released one I instantly wanted to try it. I actually already have this one (I was going to wait on a sale but couldn’t resist) but haven’t tried it yet. It’s a light, moisturizing tinted gel with natural coverage and even contains copper peptides that support collagen for plumped up skin!

Supergoop! Protec(tint) Daily SPF Tint SPF 50 Sunscreen Skin Tint with Hyaluronic Acid and Ectoin $44 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
I’ll readily admit I’m not a big fan of SPF in my foundations as I feel like I’m not using enough to fully protect my face but that doesn’t mean I don’t love the idea of the new Supergoop! Protec(tint). This is a serum-like skin tint that contains skin plumping Hyaluronic Acid. It gives skin a soft, natural appearance and if you do love sunscreen in your coverage it contains an SPF 50.

MAKE UP FOR EVER Mini HD Skin Hydra Glow Skincare Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid $22 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
I’m NOT a glowy foundation fan! I dislike how it looks on my face. I don’t mind a bit of highlighter from time to time but really not into a whole glowed up foundation look. Especially ones with mica. Thanks but no thanks! I do however, want to try Make Up For Ever’s new HD Skin Hydra Glow. And it’s in a mini which makes it easier for me not to get too into a committed relationship with it. They had me at the marketing part that says it was inspired by sheet masks as I’m a huge sheet mask girl (I use one almost every night) and apparently this visibly plumps up and hydrates skin while giving natural, smooth coverage. Apparently it’s 86% skincare-based which just sounds terribly interesting to a skincare junkie like me! I’m not really to commit to a full-size but the mini sounds perfect to try it out!

Urban Decay Face Bond Self Setting Waterproof Foundation $40 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
I dunno how many people remember Benefit Hello Happy Foundation Serum but man, I miss it. It was such a delightful little serum foundation that looks so fresh and natural. When I saw Urban Decay was releasing a similar looking packaged foundation I was pretty hyped. I doubt it’s a dupe but I’m still drawn to this one even though as a drier skin girl I shouldn’t be as the finish is matte. This actually sounds somewhat interesting those as it applies as a serum foundation but has the blurring effect of a setting powder.

ILIA Skin Rewind Blurring Foundation and Concealer Complexion Stick $48 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
When it comes beautifully formulated coverage in ILIA I trust. On a whim I tried their Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Skincare Foundation and I’ve been a convert every since. Far be it from me to even consider a tinted oil foundation but I love this stuff. It creates such a dewy, fresh look on my skin! And this is the reason, I’m ready and willing to check out their newest foundation launch which happens to be in a stick and I do so love a good swipe and blend moment! This medium coverage foundation can be swiped out and creates a beautiful natural look with medium coverage. It’s also skincare powdered and has a ceramide peptide complex for hydrated, smoother skin!

Anastasia Beverly Hills Beauty Balm Serum Boosted Skin Tint $42 (Use code YAYSAVE for 20% Off)
And last but never least the new solid beauty balm from ABH. This is for those of us that really like a natural look as it provides sheerer, lighter coverage and contains a host of skin loving ingredients apparently like HA, Jojoba, Shea, and more! I’m really eager to check it out!

Spring is shaping up to be a great foundation season! I’m loving all these new natural coverage options and I’ll be indulging in quite a few. Do you have any foundations on your Spring wish list? Which ones?
