Travis Kelce Responds to Taylor Swift’s Tortured Poets Department Joe Alwyn Songs

Being a supportive boyfriend! Travis Kelce loves every song on Taylor Swift‘s The Tortured Poets Department. The new album by the “Lover” artist divulges in her past relationships with her exes and the Kansas City Chiefs tight end has no problem with that.

A source talked to Daily Mail about Travis’ true feelings about the album and why he was excited about it before it was officially release. “After Travis himself admitted to hearing some of Taylor’s new album during the Super Bowl, he has since been able to hear the entire album on multiple occasions and they have talked about the album and what the songs are all about,” the source said. “He has a few favorites – Down Bad and loml – but he also loves everything he has heard. Why wouldn’t he?”

A lot of the album is speculated to be around Taylor’s past relationships with Joe Alwyn and Matty Healy, and Travis is being supportive of her no matter what. “He understands this is a major part of what makes her the person and artist she is and he is no way looking to thwart the direction she takes.” The source continued, “He supports her 100 per cent and loves everything she is doing. Joe or any of her exes is not of concern to him whatsoever.”

“He can’t wait to buy her album and support her that way,” the insider revealed. “He is very excited for her and for people to hear it and be there for the next phase of her career.”

Travis Kelce's Spending on Taylor Swift Relationship Revealed

Swifties are also poking fun at what the Super Bowl champion could be thinking about the album. “Travis Kelce is the perfect boyfriend to weather this album cycle because you know he has never heard of The 1975,” a fan wrote. Another added, “Travis kelce is on his phone googling ‘who is matt healy’ rn.”

Though songs like “Tortured Poets Department” and “So Long, London” are thought to be about The 1975 singer and her English actor exes, Taylor snuck one line about her current relationship. In the song “So High School” she sings, “You knew what you wanted, and, boy, you got her.” Travis famously expressed that he wanted to give Taylor a friendship bracelet at the Kansas City stop of The Eras Tour, and the rest was history as they were soon to be linked.
