Born to former Miami Dolphins football player John Bosa, Nick Bosa started out in the sport from a young age alongside his brother Joey Bosa, who plays for the San Diego (now Los Angeles) Chargers. He committed to Ohio State University to play college football before the San Francisco 49ers used the second overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft on him.
At the time of his signing, he was estimated to make more than $33.5 million over the course of the deal, including a signing bonus of $22.4 million. His contract will count for $6.1 million in 2019, $7.625 million in 2020, $9.15 million in 2021, and $10.675 million in 2022. He decided to extend his contract after its expiration. The 49ers agreed to a five-year, $170 million contract extension that includes $122.5 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid defensive player in NFL history.
Who is Nick Bosa’s girlfriend?
Nick Bosa’s girlfriend is Lauren Maenner, a model who also specializes in public relations and marketing. She’s signed with Next Models and The Industry. Neither Bosa nor Maenner have directly commented on their relationship, but Maenner posts her continuous support of her boyfriend from the stands and there is talk of the possibility that they’ve broken up but that hasn’t been verified.
In May 2024, a Reddit thread shared a random piece of gossip that Bosa may have moved on with someone else. “Bosa might be seeing a new girl. Don’t know her name or many details, but they have been spotted a lot. One source told me they’re trying to keep it quiet specifically bc of gossip. So out of respect for that, I decided to stop posting gossip about Bosa for the time being. A few weeks ago people will remember I got an anon who said they hooked up with him. I can confirm she was legit bc she sent a pic of him. She said he was amazing in bed. Looks even better in person. 8 inches. Super intimate and considerate.” Of course, there’s no proof of this.
It was first suspected that Lauren was dating the defender in December 2022 when she posted a picture of herself, Bosa’s mother Cheryl, and Joey Bosa’s girlfriend Amanda Kassdikian at a Los Angeles Chargers game. “Chargers are the second favorite team ok,” Maenner wrote on Instagram.
Nick’s mom finally confirmed the romance as she posted a photo of Maenner and Kassdikian with the caption, “I love my sons gfs!!! #mamabearscublets” She also regularly posts photos with Maenner in a private suite during 49ers games.
Maenner is originally from Philadelphia, PA and graduated from Temple University with a bachelors degree in in public relations, advertising and applied communication in 2021. She posted a photo of her while watching the 49ers and Philadelphia Eagles play it out while posting a photo with the caption, “Haha this is awkward.” The only time that Bosa was featured in Maenner’s Instagram was when the model soft-launched him in an Instagram carousel. In the photo, Maenner is hugging Bosa in a window reflection.
