Love is Blind Season 7 has come to an end, with the wedding episode revealing that two couples tied the know – including Ashley and Tyler. This happened despite the revelation that Tyler already had three kids, which he characterized as “sperm donor” babies to Ashley. At the time of the reveal, Ashley was upset, but then she decided her connection with Tyler was stronger than her anger, and went ahead with the wedding.
We won’t know for sure whether the two are still together until the Love is Blind reunion, which is set for October 30, but we do know there have been a lot of updates in regards to Tyler’s kids ever since the show started airing.

The news first broke on October 7, 2024, shortly after the first batch of episodes dropped. At that time TikToker Storytimewithrikkii shared a video where she alleged that Tyler was the father of three kids “and he scrubbed them from his Instagram entirely when he found out he was gonna be on the show.” In a follow-up video published the next day, she claimed he “was very active in all of his children’s lives up until a year ago when he decided to ditch them and pretend like they didn’t exist.”
Initial reports indicated the children’s mother initially filed for custody in Baltimore City Circuit Court in October 2021. However, Life&Style later reported that the custody case was reopened after filming on Love Is Blind season 7 wrapped.
So, who is the mother of Tyler’s three kids? What has she said about their relationship?
Who’s Tyler’s Kids’ Mom from Love Is Blind Season 7?
Bri Thomas is the mother of Tyler’s three children. Not much is known about the 34-year-old, but according to her own Instagram posts, Tyler was her best friend and initially consented to a sperm donation to help her and her now ex-wife have kids. “In regards to our oldest child, Kyreaux, Tyler was initially only supposed to be helping me and my ex-wife. He was helping us conceive,” she said, adding, “It was understood that Tyler was not supposed to assume a father role in Kyreaux’s life.”
However, Thomas claimed that after her ex-wife left her, Tyler took a more active role in his kid’s life. “Tyler, as my best friend, was there for me, helping me through this extremely, extremely tough time in my life. And for that, I’ll always be thankful for him,” Thomas explained. “One day, I received a text from Tyler and he asked me if I would be OK with him being a father to Kyreaux because he did not want Kyreaux to be raised by a single mother, as he had. We had a deep discussion about what that would mean for him to be stepping up as a father to Kyreaux and what it would look like as far as financial responsibility, helping out, being an active parent in his life, being present,” she went on to explain in the video.

According to Thomas, from that moment on, Tyler acted as a father to his oldest son, Kyreaux.
The story gets even more different from what Tyler claimed on the show from here on out. Thomas claims she and Tyler became sexually involved and their 5-year-old twins, Kali and Kamari, were conceived naturally. “Kali and Kamari, are the results of natural, unplanned intercourse with absolutely no complexities surrounding parentage,” Thomas said.
“They were conceived before Kyreaux turned 1, and I admit, fully admit I have not always been the most comfortable with that truth due to the fact that I’ve lived the majority of my life as a lesbian.”
However, Thomas claims Tyler was there with her throughout the pregnancy and birth of the twins, with the two even living together. “He was there throughout my entire pregnancy at the time. And the delivery and throughout my entire stay in the hospital after birth. He signed the birth certificate. He cut the umbilical cord. His mom and sister came and visited me in the hospital, visited us in the hospital after the twins were born. Again, there has never been any confusion or additional context surrounding the twins’ origin.”
Thomas also claimed the two lived together as a family, with the understanding they could date other people, and was supportive of his decision to go on Love Is Blind.
“I can’t wrap my head around why he felt the best way to do that would be to cut off the kids. Then, to make matters worse, lie on national television and say they’re merely sperm babies and they don’t know what he looks like,” she went on to say. “That all hurts. I understand. This is for everyone’s entertainment. But this is our real lives. And, you know, it sucks. It really sucks.”
